A young bank worker can’t resist the temptation of easy money in La belle vie (2009). Bea’s (Valérie Donzelli) hard work at a large international bank has gradually gained the confidence and trust of her boss. But one day she makes out a small check to herself and endorses it with his name, a crime that goes completely unnoticed. Soon Bea is taking more and more, intoxicated by the new luxuries she can afford.
