L' agression (1975)

At once bleak and captivating, L’ agression or Act of Aggression (1975) is a study of violence and its natural consequences, wrapped up in a rather familiar film formula. This French melodrama stars Jean-Louis Trintignant as Paul Varlin, you're everyday type of family man who goes to work, comes home, and tries to mind his own business. Looking to take some time off of work, he brings his wife (Catherine Deneuve) and daughter (Delphine Boffy) on the road for a fun trip, only for them to stop at the wrong gas station. When some bad news bikers needto fuel up at the same time, they end up brutally assaulting the only two women in Paul's life and leaving them for dead. Instantly, Paul is transformed from a mild mannered man to an absolute killer with revenge on his mind. Bikers get blasted, bodies become bullet filled, and our French motorcyclists find out the hard way that it doesn't take much to make a soft dude hard! Wait, that sounds wrong. If you're thinking this movie sounds a whole lot like Death Wish (1974), then you're not the only one. Pretty much every review of the film notes that it's basically a French version of that movie, but lacking the charm of Charles Bronson. Oh well, at least our wish for original nudity was granted, when Catherine Deneuve gets her top ripped off amidst her battle with the bikers and we watch as those bigums bounce. But the much better look at Miss Deneuve semi-nude comes when she unbuttons her blouse to show some lucky man her mams! She'll have you aggressively horny watching L' agression!
