After all the hype, after the commercial tie-ins and online teasers does the newest remake of the classic King Kong (2005) by Lord of the Lens Peter Jackson live up to the high expectations? Hell, yes! This is filmmaking as epic, a tragic take on what could have been a schlocky gorilla story. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you won't believe your eyes. Oh, yes, the special effects are spectacular, but that's not exactly what Mr. Skin is referring to. Rather, it's Naomi Watts, as the beauty that kills the beast. She kills more than that when a bit of nip escapes from her dress a third of the way into the film. It's sure to peel your banana.
