Nerds and jocks have traditionally been foes, though there is one thing that unites them: their unbridled lust for Mythbusters (2004) science geek pinup Kari Byron. An artist and sculptor who grew up in the Bay Area and traveled extensively in Asia, the quirky, engaging carrot-top had no aspirations of stardom. But when her pals asked her to help out with a stunt on their new show, Kari dove into entertainment full-force. As good a sport as she is lovely of face, Kari graciously lent her flawless fanny to the mission and had a cast made of it. A star was born, and viewers can see Kari give a tight-bodied twist to the normally uptight and sexless world of science. In one mam-orable episode, Kari even appeared in a bikini, and her Bunsen burners were absolutely smoking. In addition to her Myth-busty work, Kari hosted the 2010 and 2011 editions of Large, Dangerous Rocket Ships on the Science Channel, hosted the Netflix series White Rabbit Project (2016), which focused on unusual facts from history and popular culture, made a guest appearance on the Discovery series Sons of Guns (2012), and hosted Thrill Factor (2015) on the Travel channel. Kari's most recent hosting gig is for Crash Test World (2019) on the Discovery channel. Since she's spending so much of her career sharing her knowledge with nerdy men, Kari hasn't found the time to fully strip for the camera. We hope that we'll get some more peeks at her soon.
