The artsy exercise Jours tranquilles a Clichy (1990) was released in America as Quiet Days in Clichy--which is a real tribute to the quality of the mattresses in France. Otherwise, it’d be a pretty squeaky town for Andrew McCarthy, who enjoys the standard exploits of an American writer living in gay Paris in the early 1930s. That means plenty of gorgeous femmes to cherchez, with luscious French pastries displayed by Barbara De Rossi, Giuditta Del Vecchio, Anna Galiena and Eva Grimaldi.
