Producers should have changed the title of Jayne Kennedy's motion picture debut from Lady Sings the Blues (1972) to Gentlemen Get the Blue Balls, because Jayne is hot as hell in this flick but doesn't show skin. In fact, it's Mr. Skin's opinion that she's hotter than the torch singer played by Diana Ross. Thankfully, this black beauty with the galloping breasts started to get cast in films such as Group Marriage (1972), Let's Do It Again (1975), and The Muthers (1976), the last in which she made her nude debut. We're not sure what parts she shows in this slave revolt flick but whatever they are we can guarantee they're brown and beautiful. A former Miss Ohio 1970 and one of 10 semi-finalists in the Miss USA pageant of that year, Jayne kept working sporadically in such films as Big Time (1977), Death Force (1978), Mysterious Island of Beautiful Women (1979), Ms. 45 (1981), and Body and Soul (1981). It's in Body and Soul that we saw her soulful body for the second time. Those nips are gifts that keep on giving! Jayne gave up her skinful career for a sporty one, however, becoming one of the first women to infiltrate the male-dominated world of sports announcing on The NFL Today.
