Good on Paper (2021)

The Netflix Original rom-com Good on Paper (2021) stars funny lady Iliza Schlesinger as stand-up comedian Andrea Singer, a woman who has an unexpected encounter on a plane with a seemingly nice guy named Dennis, played by Veronica Mars and Party Down's Ryan Hansen. After nearly 20 years spent laser focused on her career, Andrea realizes that she's never made time in her life for a partner because she's never before met anybody who cut mustard. After only a short time spent together, the pair move from strangers to friends to lovers in a matter of days, something that nearly everyone in Andrea's life takes the time to remind her is moving quite fast. But what has Andrea got to worry about? Dennis is a successful, charming, well-mannered, well-groomed, perfect catch of a guy and she's seemingly landed herself that one in a million guy. If you haven't caught on by now, it's all obviously too good to be true and the faster Dennis wants to continue progressing the relationship, the more red flags Andrea begins overlooking, at her own peril! Written by Schlesinger herself and marking the feature directorial debut of actress and director Kimmy Gatewood (GLOW, Atypical), this isn't your average romantic comedy and is absolutely worth your time! However, we're sad to report that it's completely nudity-free! Iliza Schlesinger is drop dead sexy and shows off her body in both a bikini and partially see-through neglige, but she decided this was not the project for her nude debut! Good on Paper is very good on film... some skin would've made it Great!
