Getting Off (1998)

Getting Off (1998), Julie Lynch's low-budget indie debut, tells the story of three women who have just learned that their old pal is in the hospital with complications from HIV. It's New York City in 1992, and so the big bad virus is nothing new, but artist Christine Harnos, business student Amy Ryan, and stand-up comic Brooke Smith nevertheless don't know what to do. Worried for their college buddy Garret Dillahunt, they get together to await word. After some drinking and some yacking, talk turns to the sack, and they start comparing their sex lives over the years. All sorts of secrets bubble to the surface . . . and Christine bares even more than her soul, showing her bush and her luscious sweet rolls.
