Art House (1998)

Art House (1998) is a comedy movie about a struggling writer and director living in Hollywood named Ray McMicheal. For his latest script he’s decided to solicit the help of a pretentious guy named Weston Craig, who seems to have his finger on the art world’s pulse. What Weston does is he completely rewrites the script and fills it in with pop culture references and dumbed down dialogue. Ray doesn’t know any of this before the buzz for the film is already being gossiped about all over town. At one point, our main character is in between places and crashes at a porn star’s house. During his stay the sexy Erin Ramirez exits the porn star’s bedroom and asks him if he’d like to join them in the bedroom for a foursome. He seems to be a little too occupied with her … strawberries to think up the proper answer.
