Gayuma (2015)

Electronic products, manufactured items, coconut oil and other goods will likely carry the description “Made in The Philippines.” But we don’t always think of erotic dramas with the same phrase. So it may come as a surprise to Yanks in the States that the 95-minute love story Gayuma (2015) is made in that same Southeast Asian place. Cesar Hernando’s skinternational flick follows Mike (Benjamin Alves) who is studying drawing (as well as the student body) at the UP College of Fine Arts. When he’s not boning up for tests, he’s boning his girlfriend Joy (Elora Españo) in the shower. As a film student, she’s got posters of Gone with the Wind (1939) and La Dolce Vita (1960) in her bedroom — where she seduces a dude with her bare breasts! Everything seems to be going well until a mysterious artists’ model named Stella (Phoebe Walker) catches Mike’s attention. Despite her elusive nature, she eventually agrees to see Mike’s etchings (among other things). As you can guess, the two begin to shed their threads so they can hook up with one another. In scene after scene, we get to see Stella’s three Bs! Unfortunately, Mike’s curiosity slowly turns into an obsession that leads to a revelation of dark secrets about his family’s roots. You’ll also be discovering your growing root while watching a montage of Elora and Phoebe flashing their collective boobs and butts as the overture to Carmina Burana plays in the background. It’s arousing enough to leave you saying, “Encore, encore!”
