Judd Apatow’s feel-good comedy Funny People (2009) stars Adam Sandler as George Simmons, a comedian at the top of his game who learns he has a fatal and incurable condition and decides to take a struggling young comic (Seth Rogen) under his wing. But when his disease miraculously goes into remission and gives him a new lease on life, George decides that fame is less important than trying to win back his old girlfriend (Leslie Mann).
