Flatbush Misdemeanors (2021-2022)

Anyone who has ever lived in New York knows that it is about as looney toons as it gets when it comes to day to day life.  Flatbush, Brooklyn might just be the epicenter of that too and the topical issues of gentrification, race, police interactions, and generally trying to survive in a cutthroat city are surrounding out two main heroes, Dan (Dan Perlman) and his best friend Kevin (Kevin Iso).  Kevin spends his days delivering food around the city, getting into accidental dust-ups with local drug dealers, police, and anyone who stumbles into the world.  Dan is a schoolteacher who is your typical lost generation millennial who has more neurosis than prescriptions to curb those neurosis and the day to day living in Flatbush crushes his spirit again and again!  So these two best friends basically find themselves surviving in the ever changing city that pits them up against the old guard and the gentrifiers.  Can these weary heroes make it through another day without another misunderstanding that could get them arrested, killed, beat-up, or simply looking like they are the bad guys in everyday situations.  Who knows?  Along the way though, these friends are definitely going to try to get down with as many beautiful ladies as they can if they don't stand in each other's own way and we get to see a fumbling fool around session between Dan and his co-worker Jess (Sharlene Cruz).  Once she gets down to her bra, she wants him to "take charge, but still do what she says in a take charge way..." Which means this neurotic dude is probably going to let his mind take that note the wrong way!
