First Case (2024)

The French title for this Paris-set drama is Premiére affaire, and it’s worth mentioning because there’s a double meaning there that the English translation misses. Not only is this about the very first case for the fresh-out-of-law-school Nora Aït (Noée Abita), but it also alludes to the sexual tension between her and the police officer assigned to the case, Alexis Servan (Anders Danielsen Lie). The case itself is that of teenager Jordan Blesy (Alexis Neises), accused of kidnapping and murdering his sister’s friend, but the real action happens in the bedroom, not the courtroom. Noée’s nude naturals come out in a trio of scenes, including one egg-cellent topless moment that’ll have you sustaining an objection - whoops, we mean erection!
