Finding Bliss (2008)

Let’s face it, the entertainment industry is one big lost and found. If fans aren’t Losing Chase (1996) on the big screen, they’re Losing Alice (2020) on the boob tube. Meanwhile, movie goers are Finding Kate (2004), Finding Amanda (2008), Finding Samantha Dixon (2012), Finding Joy (2013), and Finding Sofia (2016). Of course, we’d be remiss not to mention Finding Bliss (2009). The R-rated rom-com centers on Jody Balaban (Leelee Sobieski), a 25-year-old film school grad who is hired to edit a skin flick at Grind Productions. She’s initially reluctant and repelled by the gig. What would her parents (Caroline Aaron and Tim Bagley) think? But eventually Jody gets into the swing of things. In fact, she fancies the porno’s director Jeff Drake (Matthew Davis). Like her, he once had dreams of making legit movies. But Mr. Skin has no problem with adult films. And we have no problem seeing Stormy Daniels flash her plastic fantastics while donning a bridal veil. We also enjoy ogling Christa Campbell’s cans as her character Kato shoots a sex scene with Richard “Dick” Harder (Jamie Kennedy). The film also features Denise Richards, Donnamarie Recco, Garry Marshall, Kristen Johnston, Ron Jeremy, and Mircea Monroe’s fab figure. In addition to strutting her stuff in an itsy bitsy teeny weeny teal bikini, she exposes her nude booty! Even though Leelee doesn’t reveal her tee-tees, she does wear barely-there undies and other sexy getups designed to get us off. Suffice it to say, you’ll lose your load while Finding Bliss.
