Filhos e amantes (1981)

A Brazilian film that focuses on the idealistic and sexually liberating 60 and 70s, the story follows a group of young people who get lost in the hedonism that isn’t what they thought it would be. The kids all go to a cottage during the winter and in an attempt to feel something more than their normal life offers, they indulge in drugs and promiscuity. The cast of characters each has their own individual quirks and concerns, but they are all connected by the idea that they want to have fun through these experiences, but wind up learning valuable lessons about their desires.
