Sonho de Valsa (1987)

A beautiful Brazilian sex addict pursues a flurry of lovers as protection against the ghosts from her past in the smoldering erotic drama Sonho de Valsa (1987). Ana Carolina’s film stars Xuxa Lopes as Teresa, a Catholic nymphomaniac who desires a break from the rigid moral and religious confines of her present situation. By flinging herself into a series of torrid, impromptu affairs with men she barely knows, Teresa’s temporarily successful at using sex as an opiate. Unfortunately the bronzed beauty can’t keep it up forever, but it’s fun to watch her try; Xuxa deserves another X in her name, as she bends over backwards to keep the proceedings adults only.
