Bible class doesn’t have to be a fusty hour of tedious lectures and tired moralizing. Using the Canadian-filmed parable Eve (2002) as an educational tool, the forward-thinking Christian teacher can open the eyes of his young charges to the beauty of the creation myth and also to the miracle that is the female body in its natural, pre-Satan state of blissful undress. Shot with the lavish reverence of the best Sports Illustrated swimsuit video, with locations as lush and green as any on the Good Lord’s good earth, Eve is a gentle reminder that this mortal coil is not without its direct links to heaven.
