Erste Liebe (2004)

In the German psychodrama Erste Liebe (2004), a teenager returns from a vacation in the States to find that things are amiss at home. Tino Mewes stars as Oliver, a mild-mannered sixteen-year-old who takes a job at the restaurant owned by his bourgeois parents. There he meets and falls desperately in love with Sina (Cordelia Wege), a comely young brunette who leads him on without divulging shocking secrets about a prior affair. The film is based on a dusty Ivan Turgenev tome, but outrageously tattooed Wege helps breathe new life into the production with her scenes of carnal candor.
