This sensuous native of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil started acting in theatre at the age of ten, appearing in a number of plays with Interarte Company such as Pare para Decidir - O Musical and Dançar Bahia, both of which went on to tour throughout South America. Emanuelle tried to study biology at the Federal University of Bahia but her yearning to be in front of an audience was too much and she switched to performing arts and graduated in 1998. The following year she became the lead singer of Banda Eva until 2002 and founded the samba-rock band Moinho with Lan Lan and Toni Costa in 2004. Emanuelle began shifting her career to the screen, starring in a long list of television series throughout the years, including Pé na Jaca, The Favorite, Cats Cradle, Malhação, Wounded Past, Samantha!, and Orphans Of A Nation. She’s also found time to make a few Brazilian features, starting with Ó Pai, Ó: Look At This (2007), Na Quebrada (2014), Longe do Paraíso (2020), and Juntos e Enrolados (2022). The actress/singer’s career is still going strong - and sexy, thanks to the Netflix miniseries Lady Voyeur (2022). She plays a high class sex worker in the Portuguese-language thriller, entertaining clients in her big windowed-apartment while her nosy neighbor watches.
