Safely banal family issues series from the late 70’s which centered on the various travails of the Bradford family. Roly-poly Dick Van Patten was the good-natured patriarch, Betty Buckley was the well-adjusted stepmom, and there were about eight kids. I only recall the young and irritating Adam Rich and the older and irritating Willie Aames, but I’m sure there were sisters as well. Paraded through its vaguely Brady Bunch-esque issues with a plucky aplomb, and a few dramatic fireworks were offered throughout its five seasons.
