Der Verleger (2001), which means “The Publisher,” is a two-part biopic about a German publisher who builds a newspaper empire from scratch in the post war era. The film, which originally aired on German television, tells the life story of the publisher. Sounds heady, but don’t fret — there’s quite a bit of skin to give you a break, when brunette stunner Elisabeth Lanz chats it up in a living room wearing nothing but a grin.
