Der Schattenmann (1996)

The title of the German cop drama Der Schattenmann (1996) translates to “The Shadow Man,” a pretty fitting description for the protagonist of the series. Charly Held (Stefan Kurt) is an undercover cop who infiltrates German organized crime, headed by uber boss Jan Herzog. Like most people leading a double life, the barriers between both begin to blur as Charly delves deeper and deeper into the crime world. We wish Der Schattenmann had delved deeper into the world of actresses not wearing any clothes, but, sadly, we’re only treated to one moment of naked eye candy: Maja Maranow revealing her rump in a steamy shower scene. We just wish the rest of her wasn’t in the shadows.
