If you're an indie filmmaker looking to cut corners any way you can, shooting your movie at an abandoned mental hospital is a great idea, right? Wrong. Despite the obvious advantages in the set-dressing department, the abandoned asylum where Dark Feed (2013) is set just isn't a good location for filming. Why not? Because when your cast and crew are all going mad under the influence of the sinister supernatural power that runs the place, you're going to end up blowing your shooting schedule anyway. Speaking of blowing, Rebecca Whitehurst really blows her chance at scream queen skin stardom by showing us little more than a silhouette as she takes a shower. Now that's crazy.
