In a twist on the modern murder mystery, Cover Versions (2018) takes on the classic narrative of everyone telling a different version of the same story from their perspective!  Ala, the millennial version of an Agatha Christie story focusing on sex, drugs, and rock & roll instead of intrigue and espionage in a far off land.  We open this indie flick following Synth-Rock band Starfoxy the night before one of their biggest gigs to date at a music festival, which is going to catapult them onto the upper echelon of super stardom with their music and fame.  Smash cut to the end of the evening when one of their biggest fans is found dead in the pool after their all-night rager somehow mysteriously takes a turn for the treacherous and ill-fated fan!  As they begin to recall the events of the drug and booze fueled rockstar-esque orgy of good times, each one of the band members tells the story slightly differently than the last, which is painting an interesting picture of how this poor young hottie ended up face down in the pool of their mega party pad...  Fingers are pointed, drugs and drinks are had, blame is shifted, and for our sakes, nipples become erect and borderline exposed in a poolside flashback sequence featuring the unbelievable sexy Debby Ryan.  Alas, it seems like they went light on the rockstar levels of nudity you'd probably see at a real life drug and drink fueled pool party, but Debby Ryan is still a certified stick of dynamite on the screen and we get to see her pokies in a couple of different bathing suits and yep! She's banging hot and we would definitely invite her to our pool party, any day of the week, even if she doesn't get fully naked.
