Childstar (2004)

Kids do the darnedest things, especially children who have been empowered with the perks and burdened with the pressures of premature celebrity. A preteen TV icon breaks with a pampered but untenable reality. He scampers from the set of a major Hollywood production being filmed in Canada and simultaneously provides the dramatic conflict and the moral of the story to Childstar (2004). The AWOL A-list brat is on the verge of becoming one more flaming-out casualty of fame. His unlikely savior appears in the form of a visionary indie filmmaker who happens to be working his way to the top, starting as the terror tot's chauffeur.
