Cat Sticks (2019)

Cat Sticks (2020) is a beautiful black-and-white drama about drugs. This Indian film comes to us from writer and director Ronny Sen that who sets his Bengali story in Calcutta during a very rainy night. In the middle of a storm, a group of Calcutta addicts seeks more crack to smoke one dark and gloomy night. Three men share their stories as they come together and fall apart in the search for more "brown sugar" to smoke. The heavy rains are almost like a soundtrack of intensity that sets the tone for how these journeys will go. From literal highs to rock-bottom lows, these guys go through a lot on this dark and stormy night. While some seek a quick fix, others of them appear to never want the night to end. You'll never want the scene to end when you see Sreejita Mitra play the delicious Orna. She's a gorgeous dark-haired girl with an hourglass figure who shows off her physique when she puts on a sexy bikini. Then she puts a T-shirt on over her playful getup so that it can be a surprise for her man. They make out and she takes it off to make love, but she never takes off the bikini. The two of them later play with some mosquito netting which ends up being quite sensual. Still, we only really see Sreejita's cleavage and tummy in these scenes. Cat Sticks leaves us hungry for some actual (cat) nip.
