Goggle-eyed, waif-like beauty Carol Kane looks like a Botticelli painting come to lustful life. She may be best remembered as Andy Kaufman's kooky wife Simka Gravas on the TV series Taxi, but she's been acting since her debut in the movie Is This Trip Really Necessary? (1970). This trip down mammary lane? Is it ever! Carol has played a goofy girlfriend in Carnal Knowledge (1971), a hostage in Dog Day Afternoon (1975), Woody Allen's first wife in Annie Hall (1977), and a freaked-out babysitter in When a Stranger Calls (1979). More recently, she's kept up the monkeyshines opposite Billy Crystal in The Princess Bride (1987), Bill Murray in Scrooged (1988), and a family of freaks in Addams Family Values (1993). But we have to go back to The Last Detail (1973) for Carol's best skinage. She plays a hooker who gives an AWOL Randy Quaid a sexy send off before he's locked up in the stockade. Carol is completely nude, sitting on a bed smoking, with a hint of her honey-colored bush and her hot-dog tits peeking through her curly blonde locks. Talk about raising Kane! There's a flash more nudity in The Mafu Cage (1978), while Carol lies in a bathtub, unfortunately we only see bits and pieces of her, well, bits and pieces. It's a weird movie about a lady who abuses her mafu's (apes) but you'll still be happy to spank your monkey to the rub a dub dub Carol Kane in a tub scene. Carol's picked up a few awards along the way, from a pair of Emmy's for her work in Taxi (a role she reprised for a cameo in Man on the Moon (1999) to an Academy Award nomination for her work in Hester Street (1975), but the best indicator of Carol's talent is how long she has maintained an acting career. After playing the Penguin's mom on Gotham, in 2015 she returned to the small screen with a co-starring role in the hit Netflix series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Carol is unstoppable! Outside of her work in The Dead Don't Die (2019), Carol has been playing Nazi hunter Mindy Markowitz on Amazon's Hunters, alongside Al Pacino.
