Is there nothing that Brazil cannot do? They invented the thong, or at least popularized it on some of the most round and alluring butts ever to be exposed on beachfront property. And then there are the women of Brazil. Forget the boys from Brazil; this is the real selling point of this South American country. Take Carla Camurati, who first started showing off her skin in the freaky comedy O Olha Mágico do Amor (1981), where she and Tânia Alves get themselves in all sorts of sexual adventures, from kinky sex to lesbianism and ménage-a-trois. Carla followed that up with Cristina Ache and Selma Egrei in the drama A Estrela Nua (1984) but then gave up her skin throne for the director’s chair. Let’s just hope she learned something from being naked on the other side of the camera--like a picture is always improved by the addition of skin.
