Breathe (2014)

French stunner Mélanie Laurent is best known to American audiences (as well as international audiences at large, perhaps) for her performance as Shoshanna Dreyfus in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds (2009), but she’s by all accounts set to become just as notable for her work behind the camera as she is for that role. Breathe (2014), her second feature film as director, in particular announced her as a major new talent, and garnered a great deal of critical acclaim. It follows a tenuous friendship between young two women—played by Joséphine Japyand Lou de Laâge—as it unravels after some very unfortunate events transpire. Early on, though, the two do indeed get very close, and share a brief kiss. Plus, just before that, Japy even more briefly gives us a peek at her bare ass (along with a healthy glace of her right sideboob) when she accidentally drops her towel at the beach. The saddest thing about their friendship falling apart? No more sexy moments like these.
