Bombal (2012)

The love life of acclaimed feminist author María Luisa Bombal gets a dramatization in the Chilean film Bombal (2012). 1940, María Bombal (Blanca Lewin) is in an open marriage since her husband Jorge (Alejandro Goic) is gay, when she begins an affair with the recently divorced Eulogio Sánchez (Marcelo Alonso). She is writing successful novels at the time but falls into a hopeless depression when her love for Eulogio is unreciprocated. But when Eulogio gets engaged to another woman, Maria really goes off the deep end. Blanca Lewin plays the titular author and gives her all to the role in a completely nude skinny-dipping scene.
