Bernice Stegers Nude

British-born Bernice Stegers started her acting career off on the right foot; playing a bit part in the 1971 Kirk Douglas movie To Catch a Spy. However, after an appearance as an unimportant policewoman in 1979’s The Great Riviera Bank Robbery and as Eva Berg in The Girl (1986) Bernice got hooked up with Mario Bava’s heir apparent to the Italian throne of Horror, Lamberto Bava. While Lamberto worked on most of his father’s movies, he apparently paid little attention to plot and substance, as was apparent in his feature debut as a director for Macabre. In it, Bernice plays a woman who has a very bad day; she is having an affair with a man who drives her (speedily) to a hospital where her young son is laying dead after having been drowned by his sister. On the way there, they are involved in a horrible wreck, and he is decapitated by a guardrail, with all the blood and gore that you could possibly imagine. At any rate, not to spoil the whole damned thing, she ends up naked a lot, and she has her lover’s decapitated head in an icebox.
