A police detective hunts a killer with a uniquely powerful gift in the endearingly goofy Mexican comedy Asesino en serio (2002). The object of Comandante Martínez’s (Jesús Ochoa) investigation is no run-of-the-mill killer. Instead of stabbing or shooting his females victims, the mysterious murderer pleasures them so overwhelmingly that they fall victim to death by orgasm. When the detective realizes that his carnal kung fu is no match for the killer’s, he seeks the aid of a bookish academic (Daniel Giménez Cacho) and a worldly priest (Santiago Segura). Actress Ivonne Montero is one of the comely young courtesans who dies with a grin on her face, and her sex scenes are appropriately wild.
