If watching guys with frizzy mullets and stars’n’stripes spandex one-pieces is your thing, I think you should be looking for MrWeirdo.com, not MrSkin.com. But for those with a deep dark desire to throw themselves into the big room of plastic balls at Chuck E. Cheese’s, perhaps an evening of American Gladiator reruns is exactly what you need to get ahold of your aggression. On this ridiculous yet compelling pseudo-sporting extravaganza, contestants from across America would compete in a stadium packed with people pretending to cheer while they held conspicuously articulate cardboard signs advertising their favorite Gladiator. The contestants would tackle eight events as the Gladiators would do their best to stop them, all the while accruing points with a view to being the one who gets through… THE ELIMINATOR!!! Somehow the season survived a year of Joe Theismann commentating to become an international success, running for eight seasons and spawning versions of the show in multiple countries. Which all says something really disturbing about us as a society, doesn’t it? On the skin-side, Gladiator Zap (Raye Hollitt) would go on to appear in several films, most notably in John Ritter’s Skin Deep, where she does a quick awe-inspiring strip before rutting on Ritter.
