American Crime (2015)

The ABC TV series American Crime is an hour-long drama centering on the tragic attack of young war vet Matt and his wife Gwen Skokie. While together in their Modesto, California home, the couple is attacked by an unknown subject, leaving Matt dead and Gwen unconscious and in critical condition. As news of the brutal crime spreads through the media, the police investigation turns up four suspects, ultimately spurring the close-knit community to become rattled and divided. As a growing tension radiates through the streets, ethics and race begin to enter the conversation, further complicating the investigation.
