Though some see her as a case of arrested promise, idiosyncratic Hollywood outsider Ally Sheedy has always stuck to her guns and is not afraid to poke her nipples out like thumbs. Sheedy's high watermark for public recognition was undoubtedly as a proto-Goth freaky-deaky chick in The Breakfast Club (1985). This introverted, troubled teen showed no skin, but her quirky intensity was obviously sexual in its nature. Hints of a hot core were seen in Bad Boys (1983) and One Night Stand (1995), but those hints were fleeting, covered in sheets and shrouded in shadow. The actual view came in High Art (1998), a touching romance tinged with drug addiction, lesbianism, and one of Sheedy's swinging udders.
