A Harlot's Progress (2006)

In 1731 English artist William Hogarth produced a series of six paintings portraying a young woman’s descent from innocence into depravity and death called A Harlot’s Progress. Though a 1755 fire destroyed the paintings, the prints survive, and the story behind them is the plotline explored by the 2006 drama A Harlot’s Progress. Toby Jones is the artist and Kate Ambler is the prostitute who inspired his greatest work. The only nudity we get to see, though, is from Sophie Thompson, who plays the artist’s wife and reveals her left rackage while having sex. That’s progress!
