Review

A psychopath imprisons and tortures an innocent hitchhiker in 9 Days (2013). Believe it or not, this movie is a comedy, and Danielle (Maura Murphy)'s ordeal after is she kidnapped by religious nut Virgil (Chris Schleicher) and chained to a post in his basement is modeled after Dante's Inferno. Yup, 9 Days is a torture porn with arthouse ambitions, but even if that's not your thing you can fast-forward to the 15, 47 and 50-minute marks to see Maura's mud flaps and mams getting in and out of the tub. 9 Days? More like 90 Seconds!
