ZIWE (2021)

Ziwe (2021) is a really fun original comedy series from comedian and writer Ziwe Fumodoh that is loosely based on the web series that she used to do where she asked people uncomfortable and hilarious questions regarding race, politics, and everything in between. This Showtime original program gives Ziwe a much bigger platform to do exactly what it is that she does best: be hilarious, satirical, and put people on the spot with her off-the-wall questions. This Black internet starlet combines her funny form of talk show questioning with original musical numbers and sketches that are all based on those similar themes that Ziwe has become known for. Some of her very high-profile guests on this very first season include Fran Lebowitz, Gloria Steinham, Cole Escola, Phoebe Bridgers, and so many more. Two of those "more" celebrity guests include Cristin Milioti and Jane Krakowski. In one sketch, Cristin and Jane play two women dressed up in late 80s/90s attire with pinks and frilly clothing. They are really covered, so if you are hoping for skin then please do not look for it here. That being said, they certainly do show off even more of their sensuality in this commercial parody sketch in which they believe that American Girl Dolls are for lesbians. This leads the two women to explore their female attraction by sharing a shy, lesbian kiss. They lean in for the kiss and press their lips letting our Cristin Milioti and Jane Krakowski fan fiction run wild in our heads! Thank you, Ziwe!
