Wild Cherry (2025)

In the wealthy community of Richford Lake, we’re introduced to two sets of mothers and daughters. Juliet Lonsdale (Eve Best) comes from old money, but is trying to launch a new career with a parenting book about how to turn your teen offspring into your new bestie, which she’s supposedly done with her own daughter, fifteen-year-old Allegra (Amelia May). Juliet is also close friends with Lorna (Carmen Ejogo), a self-made businesswoman from the slightly less affluent side of Richford Lake, who is the mother of Allegra’s friend and classmate, Grace (Imogen Faires). Problems arise when Juliet and Lorna are called into the girls’ elite private school and informed that both daughters were seen in a now-deleted “lewd video” of them in their underwear that had been shown to one of the teachers by another student. It turns out the video is related to an app Grace and Allegra developed called The Catalogue, filled with provocative snapshots of themselves and others that subscribers can vote on. Apparently, this is just the start of Allegra’s planned internet takeover, as she wants to set up a business deal with a much older male influencer (Jason York) whom she and Grace sneak out of a sleepover to go meet. Though we don’t see the video, we do see Amelia taking sexy selfies in her bra at one point. The real scandalous moment turns out to be some sapphic smooching between Eve and Carmen as they’re on the precipice of a threesome with Eve’s husband (James Murray), but that’s the closest we get to witnessing that wild cherry get popped!
