Watchmen (2019)

Watchmen (2019) was an HBO limited series that won an absurd eleven Emmys, despite only airing one season. Created by Damon Lindelof, it's loosely based on the graphic novel about masked superheroes who are treated as outcasts in a society that needs them. Thirty four years after the events of the graphic novel, Ozymandias (Jeremy Irons) has been exiled up in outer space after attacking the earth with giant squid to keep us from nuking each other. Nobody knows where Doctor Manhattan (Yahya Abdul-Mateen) is. And Hooded Justice (Louis Gossett Jr.) is an old man living in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his cop granddaughter Angela (Regina King). Taking place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the cops wear masks after a white supremacist group called "The Seventh Kavalry" invaded their homes and killed nearly forty of them a few years back, partly inspired by anger over reparations given to Tulsa's black residents. The Seventh Kavalry realizes that what'd really kick off their racist revolution was if they could kidnap Doctor Manhattan and use all his powers for their own gain, which they're intent on doing and Angela is really intent on stopping. And since she's got the mask already, Angela figures she might as well do it as a vigilante superhero if the law is standing in her way. From reparations and white supremacy to a thinly veiled shot at Donald Trump's family background, all the way to kicking things off with a dramatized version of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, this one wasn't afraid to tackle weighty issues about race in America within it's decidedly sci-fi setting. But it also had some sexual scenes to get your heart racing! Who's watching the Watchmen?' Well, we are when they go nude! We're watching the Watchmen when Regina King rides her man in a pair of undies. Meanwhile, Sara Vickers is totally nude in a spinning gadget built by Oxymandias. Her boobs are perky and she wears a hairy merkin. Look on and despair you're not trapped in space with that amazing pair! Watching that episode of Watchmen, suddenly, there's tons of action in our crotch, man!
