Variety (1983)

They say "Variety is the spice of life" and we couldn't agree more!  For the young and desperate for a job Christine (Sandy McLeod), her life has been the void of variety, she's been with the same boyfriend for quite some time and after taking a job at an adult theater, she's not quite sure what to expect but is definitely not used to the world of smut!  Christine gets a gig at the famed Variety Theater in the seedy late 70s and early 80s version of Times Square, where adult features are top billed and there are plenty of trenchcoated men sitting multiple seats apart, openly beating their meat to the classics of porn!  For the quiet and reserved Christine, she finds herself not running away from the hardcore nature of the job and the clientele, but she finds herself more turned on and beginning to explore a new part of her sexuality.  She becomes so much more in touch with her own sexuality in the process of awakening that side of her, it borders on obsession!  She's in deep and while she's tearing tickets, she can't help but see behind the curtain and wants more.  Along the way, we get to see a little bit of skin from star Sandy McLeod in a blue bustier and pigtails, we also get to see to sexy Nan Goldin in her undies.  For a movie that takes place in the late 70s, early 80s era of Times Square, we were hoping to get plenty of T&A, but alas, not every movie is dependent on boobies to portray the heart of an era.
