Twice Upon a Time (2019)

Is it a coincidence that France’s miniseries Twice Upon a Time (2019) began just when America’s hit show Once Upon a Time (2011-2018) completed its run? Perhaps it was a way of saying fantastical happy endings don’t only exist in fairy tales. Indeed, this sci-fi romance reveals how time travel can help couples cope with breakups. Also known as Il était une seconde fois, Guillaume Nicloux’s 4-part miniseries follows the woes and wows of former lovers. As Vincent Dauda (Gaspard Ulliel) tries to get over his sexy ex Louise Arron (Freya Mavor), he parties all night and sleeps around. Of course, these things (fun as they are) can’t cure a broken heart. Luckily for Vince, he gets a second chance when a mysterious man hands him a magical apparatus that lets the distraught dude have another go at his past. Will Monsieur Dauda do the things he ought have done before to keep his alluring amour? Or will he repeat the same old mistakes? For his sake, we hope the guy does what he can to keep Ms. Arron on hand. Speaking of body parts, check out Ms. Mavor’s fluffy muff in episode 1. Better yet, she reveals her chest in episode 2. Breast of all, the svelte stunner struts her stuff in the buff in episode 3 — revealing her three Bs! If that’s not hot enough, Freya is again freed of her clothing in episode 4 which showcases her beaucoup boobs, bush and booty in the boudoir. Ooh la la!
