Biography

When they wrote “Dancing Queen” in 1976, Abba may have had Tracy Phillips in mind, although she was a child at the time and no one from Abba has ever alluded to this in any interviews. None of this changes the fact that Tracy has been a dancer, actress, and choreographer in numerous TV shows, movies, and music videos. Her first IMDb-credited project was the film Gun Shy (2000), in which she played "Dancer at Cheemo's House." She followed that up with Boys and Girls (2000), in the role of "Dancer," and Lucky Numbers (2000), where she played (surprise, surprise) "Dancer"! Tantalizing Tracy finally landed a non-Dancer role in Ultimate Target (2000) but went back to her roots in Dirty (2005). Around that time, she started applying her dancing skills behind the camera, working as an assistant choreographer for the 2005 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and choreographer for the comedy feature Unbeatable Harold (2006). Nothing's unbeatable about her gig on Jackass Number Two (2006), as she shakes her tailfeather on screen while choreographing the other dancers. You might also beat it to her appearances in Clerks II (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), and Charlie Wilson's War (2007). In the last of those flicks she plays a belly dancer, and you’ll be a gel-in-pants-er! After getting similarly skimpy in Hell Ride (2008) and Dark Streets (2008), Tracy covered up but still managed to land parts in prominent projects like Bob Dylan: The Night We Called It a Day (2015) and Twin Peaks. It's a shame we haven't seen hers.
