Tracks (2005) is based on the true story of a group of bored teenagers who bungled their lives and killed a conductor after throwing a switch down by the railroad tracks. The kids, all between the ages of fourteen and sixteen, were the first in the great garden state of New Jersey to be tried and convicted as adults. Chris Gunn plays the main derailer as he navigates the netherworld of life in the pokey. He bargains with a sex criminal, finks on his clink comrades, and generally grows into a jerk only a mother could love . . . if he hadn't completely abandoned his mother, that is. Ice-T puts in some time as a prison guard, and he lays down some tracks for the Tracks soundtrack too.
