The terror triples in Three... Extremes II (2002), an Asian horror omnibus directed by three of the leading figures in Hong Kong, South Korean, and Thai horror. In “Memories,” a man suffers disturbing visions after being abandoned by his wife. In “The Wheel,” a small jungle village is plagued by a curse that can only be lifted by a small boy. In “Going On,” a ghostly apparition of a girl in a red dress plagues the new occupants of an apartment building. In all cases the eerie chills outpace the sexual thrills, but actress Eugenia Yuan does tantalize in one of the segments, playing a comely corpse floating in the bathtub.
