Elementary (2016)

Elementary (2012- ) basically takes the Sherlock Holmes we all know and love and plopped down in modern day Manhattan. Sherlock, played by Jonny Lee Miller, is a recovering drug addict. He used to be a consultant to Scotland Yard, but now he helps the NYPD solve crimes and lives with his sober companion Watson, played by Lucy Liu. She used to be a surgeon, but quit when she lost a patient. She's incredibly smart, so now she helps out Holmes with his crimes, eventually becoming his apprentice. Unfortunately, Lucy has yet to doff her duds on-screen, but we do see Lili Mirojnick in her lingerie giving a guy a very racy lap dance. Maybe we should have been doing detective work all along...
