Review

In the 1960s, crooner/actor Frank Sinatra and his slick show-biz pals, including Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop, ruled the nightspots of Las Vegas and the high life on the Hollywood strips with a swagger and panache that have been unequaled to this day. The Rat Pack (1998) brings to life the camaraderie and competition among the archetypal high-profile posse. We see the boozing, the broads, the bluster, the butt-buddy buffoonery with John F. Kennedy. The Rat Pack were nonstop party people, and the movie is one long toast to days of excess past.
