Adapted from the 2016 best seller by Naomi Alderman, this Amazon Original series focuses on multiple characters all over the world at a time when eighteen year old girls suddenly and inexplicably grow a new organ in their bodies that gives them the ability to electric shock people and objects like eels. The girls then discover they can “give” the power to other women, and now a demographic that had gotten used to navigating their surroundings with fear suddenly has newfound strength, and all the ethical and social conundrums that come with it. But some things never change - Zrinka Cvitesic’s Tatiana still uses her power of performance to speed along a bag sesh with her much older husband while donning some sexy skintight latex and high heels.
