The Ice Runner (1993)

Set in the Gorbachev-era Russia, The Ice Runner (1993) stars Edward Albert as Jeffrey West, an American CIA agent doubling as an arms broker who is nabbed while in Moscow on an assignment, getting himself shipped off to a labor camp in the frigid forests of Siberia. When his train derails on the way to the maximum-security prison, Jeffrey swaps identities with a dead man and is re-routed to a less-severe work camp. It is there where the displaced agent quickly makes some enemies and is harassed by a suspicious guard, Kolya (Yevgeni Lazarev). But he also befriends Fyodar (Victor Wong), an odd gypsy dude that encourages Jeffrey to make a run for it. As Kolya continues to put pressure on Jeffrey, he taunts him to make the deadly thirty-seven mile trek across the icy strait to Alaskan territory. While imprisoned, Jeffrey finds the time to strike up a love affair with Olga Kabo. And you’ll find the urge to strike up some self-loving when Olga bares her boobies during a sensual lovemaking scene. Nice, nice baby!
