The Business

Vic Morgenstein (Rob deLeeuw) has built an entertainment-industry fortune by distributing schlocky gore flicks and producing a softcore sex video series titled "Drunk Chicks." When he picks up a highbrow art film that garners worldwide acclaim, Morgenstein becomes intoxicated by the notion of respectability and hires producer Julia Sullivan (Kathleen Robertson) to guide his studio into new, upscale ventures—while still sticking by his grade-Z sensibilities. Such is the business of The Business, an IFC series sending up the most extreme ends of the movie industry with loads of sharp humor and no lack of delectably soft naked female body parts. The Business will have you grabbing the end of your stick.
